Growing Old with God
In the modern world of high technology and advanced medicine, people are living longer and healthier lives. "Middle age" has taken a leap ten years further down the road until reaching signs that indicate the beginning of the second half of life.
In his book Growing Old with God , David Roper shows you why and how this season of your life can truly be the best. Offering biblical wisdom and reassurance for you as you mature, Roper invites you to travel with him on his own "journey to maturity." Calling you to both frank self-reckoning and joy, Roper presents an uplifting look at the possibilities that lie ahead. "So enjoy!" he says. "Enjoy your journey to maturity as you gain perspective on the past and hope for the future. Make the most of every moment of your life."

a guide for those entering the best time of life
I never thought of retirement years as the best of all of life, but David Roper gives guidance in ways to relish and be grateful for the final years. His wisdom is profound as he leans heavily on scripture and enduring philosophy of other insightful people entering those so-called golden years. Keep this book handy by your favorite chair, be it living room, the beach, or aisle seat on a plane.

A lovely and uplifting collection of essays giving Roper's thoughts on what it means to have surpassed three score and ten - useful for daily devotional reading, but not the sort of book one sits down and reads through.
