Don't realize it was originally a British publication until about halfway through. (Torch/Flashlight reference) For some reason, I felt like it took me forever to get through this slim volume on aspects of science I'm completely fascinated by.

Well time to send it down the line!

The concepts reviewed are organized in the order of cognitive development Oddly it is set up in chronological order from the beginnings starting the book with the Origin of life then matter, light, sound, heat, electricity, magnets, forces and motion, land transport, water transport
, and air transport.

Common sense, but the proper use of the index and table of contents can be taught.

Real pictures!! Magnified; microscopic pictures are presented -> cell pics (matter)

Students that are in the 3rd-5th grade will benefit.
