First of all the title is The Inner Green not Innver. I loved it so much. Having grown up in BC, wading in ponds, running through forests, catching snakes, turtles, tadpoles and grasshoppers it really brought me home at a time where nature has been my coping mechanism for grief. I love the short essay format, it's hard to put down but the natural breaks between chapters makes it easier when you're jumping up and down tending to life while you try to read.

I like reading about the area I call home from the perspective of different people. I think I would get along with these authors, their stories and experiences spoke to me. I particularly liked how it was a collaborative book effort from 2 authors, yet you can just pick up any chapter and read it by itself.
