Another classic Disney story. I loved the original film, and even remember liking the Jeff Daniels version, though I can hardly remember the actual movie itself.

There are two dogs and they are going to have puppies. Then the day comes there is eight no wait eleven then finally fifteen. This cruel girl named Cruella De Vil comes and wants the puppies but the owner of the puppies does not want to give them away so then Cruella leaves but she says she is going to get them. The dogs went for a walk and the puppies stayed home, then Cruella took all fifteen baby puppies. The mom and dad dogs went to find the puppies and they did but they found ninety nine puppies they found there fifteen but they left with all of them and took them home but by the time they got home they had 101 Dalmatian puppies.

Like the movie, Pongo and Perdita go on an adventure to save their pups. This can be read, then watch the movie; maybe discussing parts that the book left out.

It was pretty funny and it kept my 8 year old interested.
