This book is meant for review for the SAT II World History Test. It has a lot of practice tests in it, and after each time period's review section, it gives you a short test to see how well you learned the material. My complaints are that it doesn't actually cover ALL the material, so some of the questions you can't answer correctly just having read the book, and some of the questions are sort of judgment questions, but that's also how the test works. The history review sections have really, really laughable writing by someone who should not be writing history. They sound like a high school student themselves. But it gets the point across about what the test wants you to think about history.
