I don't know why I find this volume so irritating & weak when I enjoyed the larger, two-volume hardcover edition. Possibly because the paper quality was poor & the binding flimsy. Or the choice of languages focused upon in this compact version were not to my liking. I immediately regretted settling for this version & got rid of it. I'll save up to buy the out-of-print hardcover set instead.
