This story was total mush. Not much of a conflict, cute barbs, long distance phone calls, except loveless union at first turned to HEA. A really happy story. In HP, it is rare for a hero to hope that love will come, and for a heroine to be cynical, but this one had both. But their expectation of falling in love seemed to be clinical instead of emotional. There is an irritant other woman, but nothing too serious.
good plot but the book lost 2 stars 4me due 2 too much talking. n i did not c how they fell in love after the wedding. it was very good sex i conceed but i did not feel love growing between these 2. i still gave 3 stars koz i enjoyed the book, it was well written n the plot was good n promising. unfortunately it did not develop as good as i expected
I really enjoyed this book. I have read it several times and still find the story to be good. The character interaction is nice with sparks from the beginning.
Didn't like it, the book in general and hero specifically felt surface level and no depth. I also really disliked the heroine and her constant pushing hero away and demanding her way (not that she got her way but her being a harpy was annoying). I am confused as to whether hero had sex with other women during 4 months between them meeting again, he made contradictory statements like "never slept with another woman since you've been in my life" then another time says "haven't slept with anyone else in a long time and certainly not since you came back into my life". P.
A nice read, but felt a bit flat for me. Maybe because the dialogue a bit basic and repetitive. Maybe because the way Ashley handle the OW was not very classy. And Ryan was not a jerk, arrogant and pushy yes but no jerk, and Ashley just keep fighting pointless fight with Ryan and get repetitive. So yeah, could've been better, I think.
