This is a great book!
The series seems like it's really great, but since I live in Austin, I use this one regularly to walk my dogs. I really enjoyed discovering great places I would not otherwise have known about. The crazy thing is that I've lived in the area for 15 years, and *still* didn't know about most of these places! This book inspired me to get a state park pass and walk with my kids regularly... then summer came and made me feel small and meek. Yes, I'm one of those dog people. Happily so. I'm looking forward to cooler weather when we get get back to the good stuff.
The maps are terrific and accurate. The information is still accurate as of this moment. It's well written, not using the typical abbreviated style of travel books.
