Written in an informal colloquial style, this student friendly principles of economics textbook does not sacrifice intellectual depth in its quest for accessibility. The author's primary concern is to instill economic sensibility in the student. Colander emphasizes the intellectual and historical context to which the economic models are applied.
Well, I actually read a textbook. The author makes every attempt to make it more interesting...so you read it not to learn about economics, but to find out what weird and interesting things he leaves in the text to keep you interested!! Well, for an overview of Economics...this was I guess the best that could be expected...but I wasn't riveted...and I am not sure I would recommend it...
