I chose the book World War 2 Almanac Volume 1. I chose this book because I like to learn about history. I have always liked to learn about history because it is very exciting to me. This book made me learn more than I have in any history class. I honestly thought the book was going to get boring after a few days but it never did. This book is about the history of world war 2 and how it started and ended. The book was about the countries fighting against each other and the leaders who were leading them. This book took place all across the world including parts of Asia, Europe, North America, and Russia. The main conflict of this book was Germany vs Great Britain and the United States. The book tells us about how the USA entered the war and why they did. It also tells us about how the Nazi’s almost took over Europe for themselves. It also tells us how the people’s lives were while the war was going on in those countries. I gave the book 4 out of 5 stars. I gave it this rating because I would recommend it to anyone who likes history. For the one potential star I didn't give it that star because if you don't like history then you probably won't like the book. But I feel like anyone can read this book and learn something new from it. Also it is a very good book to just read when you are bored because you will always learn something new. I think anyone that likes history should read this book. It is a very good book in my opinion.
