It is an Evidence casebook. The problem method is very annoying, just lots of open ended questions. I would prefer to read excerpts from the cases that the problems represent.

This book would've been so much more helpful if the examples weren't completely outlandish situations I likely won't ever encounter in practice. Also, this book would've been more helpful if it actually answered the hypothetical questions it poses. Would love if each chapter laid out the relevant FREs at the beginning instead of randomly throwing them in throughout.

Lots of problems but no answers which isn't incredibly helpful. More review / outlines of rules would be nice.

I'm seeing a pattern this semester... Statutes, Statutes, Statutes.
[SPOILER ALERT]: Who knew there were so many exemptions to the hearsay rule?

And I thought the Rule Against Perpetuities was tough.
