The prince will not use his potty, and the king and queen are quite perplexed! They are even more confused when they consult the Royal Wise Man, who tells them to get the prince a puppy. But the wisdom of his words becomes perfectly plain as the prince learns all about using a proper potty from his new pet.
This was a very funny book! It was impressing that he left his dipper on until the end.I think the book is saying that the dog is teachen him to go to the bathroom. I smiled when I looked at thet book. If you got this book I think you would laugh.THANK YOU

The illustrations are cute and I think the intention was good. I think this is aimed at older kids who won't potty train. It was kind of lost on my just over 2 year old because we were just starting.
This is a cute story about a prince that will not use the potty. But after he learns a little patience with his puppy and teaches the puppy where he should go, he soon realizes where a prince should go. The writing and the illustrations are delightful! The story is filled with puppies, castles, and a wise man that is sure to capture the hearts of little ones.
Cute illustrations. Cute story. SS is doing pretty well being ok sitting on the potty. Still not asking to go unless we're already changing him. I could make this his bathroom book for the coming weekend, since we have a ton of Sleeping/Bedtime books we now need to work with. Hope he doesn't ask for a puppy! :-)
This book was simply okay. I think it would be better if he had any pets but with my allergies there's no chance of that happening. He did enjoy the book though -- he seemed to like it better than I did.
Royal tale about toilet training. The Price refuses to use his potty, because it didn't please him. The King and Queen sought the advice of the Royal Wise Man, who suggested to get the Prince a puppy. It wasn't long before the puppy needed to be trained of where to go to puddle, this in-turn made the Prince see the importance of using his own potty.
We are still potty-learning, LOL. The prince is reluctant to use the potty, so the wise man suggests getting him a puppy. The prince has to teach the puppy to potty on his paper, and in turn learns to use his own potty. This is great for a child who is fond of animals.
This is a children's book, just in case you didn't figure that out. A friend read it and decided it was to entertaining not to share. It was. We laughed.
