An absolute must read for any serious parrot owner. It's better suited to the beginner or novice (and not so much the experienced), but anyone can learn something useful from this book. Moreover the experienced owner willl enjoy the bibliography at the back!

An ok book

This is a great book for those who have aggressive birds but doesn't cover all behaviors. That is the reason for my rating

Very useful read for anyone who keeps birds as pets.

I've had different kinds of birds for over 10 years and still learned a thing or two from this book.

I own five parrots, three of them large. I have found this book to be extremely helpful in modifying how I approach problems with my parrots. Even after owning parrots for ten years now I still feel like there is always room to grow and this books helps with that. This book is especially helpful in laying out exactly what parrot aggression looks like and the different types. Each type needs to be handled differently. It turns out there really is always a reason why a parrot bites and its up to us to figure it out. This book was a good buy and I plan to re-read it a couple of times.
