Love the info on Mrs. Beeton and her famous book

I've heard of Mrs. Beeton's compendium. It's famous among cookbook lovers and people interested in domestic arts. But I didn't know anything about the lady. Mr. Cohen came up with a great idea for a book!

Turns out, she was in her mid-20s when she researched and wrote it. Amazing range of info, not just recipes. I haven't tried any of the Top 40 the author included in this book. And honestly, I probably won't! But they sure are interesting.
