I really enjoyed this book and was impressed by how it portrayed different situations and how they could lead to fighting. I suggest the target audience is kindergarten through 2nd grade, as it shows students how to be polite, respectful, and patient while also talking through their feelings. This book could be used at any time in the school year to teach students to talk through their feelings, but if there is a disagreement in the classroom, it would be a great opportunity to teach respect for others. I believe this book is valuable to elementary readers because all students can relate to a time they were mad or upset. It reminds us to be polite, respectful, patient, and kind to one another.

This book looks at conflicts, big and small, from child arguements to wars. It's not a bad 'first look' (as the packet says), and could be useful for families who are dealing with arguements between parents, or even for children who are concerned about global conflicts.
