While I appreciate the intent of the book which is to have a little fun and share some interesting information about the Midwest. I was overall disappointed. The book is missing a lot of great facts that could have been mentioned about innovations and other famous citizens from the Midwest. For example, the Wright brothers, Thomas Edison invention of professional football, and so on seem like basic things to include but are left out. I also found so much of the book was random bullet points with a random highlights of different words that I found it confusing.
