I loved this book. I give it 4.5 stars. The author has a few habits that bother me though. One is especially annoying: she uses the word "smelt" instead of smelled!!!! Also, without giving anything away, the author skips too much time in her books--like years. Makes me crazy!!!

But really, I loved the story, I couldn't put it down. It bothers me that her characters don't communicate well enough that miscommunications happen so easily, but if that wasn't the case, the books wouldn't be

I loved this book for all the right reasons. Great storyline, well developed characters. I was hooked. This author was definitely born to write Rock Star Romances. Although I know she is well known for The Rock Gods, M/M Romance and that's how I started reading these books but she has a collection of M/F books many with a rock star theme and I just can't get enough of them.

Sydney Willows was a very talented photographer who travels all over the world. She is in high demand as her images are exq

So in this book we are introduced to Sydney, the entertainment photographer harboring emotional baggage who is sent to follow a band named Reckless on a 6-month tour so she can compose a backstage access photography book for their fans. This is when she meets Ben, the lead singer who she wants to believe is just like his chauvinistic, pig brother in the band but soon realizes he is not at all what she first assumed. Throughout the book you start feeling bad for Ben because you can tell that he o ...more

For All The Right Reasons focuses on Ben, lead singer in Reckless and Sydney a professional photographer hired to follow his band and document behind the scenes.

I liked Ben tremendously. A rock star that is still a good guy with a plan and morals. His brother Simon, not so much. Didn't care for Simon at all. Ben is crazy about Sydney and wants a chance together. He is a novice photographer on the side and is very interested in her and her work.

Sydney I couldn't really connect with. I understand she had her reasons for how she was but feel like it pushed a bit to far. I grew to like her a bit more at the end of the book but overall didn't really care for her.

Ben carried the book for me and I loved his patience and tenacity with Sydney.

There are a couple good twist in the book that keep the story moving and give it a tad of a dark side. This is my third Ann Lister rocker romance and I think Covered in Lace is still my favorite. I would recommend giving them all a try as they are all different.

this is my second book from this author and the only reason why i gave this and the first book - Sheet Music i read 4 stars is because of years that the author skips in her books :P
it is nice knowing that after all that time love is still strong between main characters but i hate that in this book Ben missed out the first 3 years with his daughter :( ... apart from that, i love the whole thing and i recommend it to all who want to escape for a few hours in a different world with great character

4 out of 5 stars

I would have given it the full 5 stars as I really loved the romance between the main characters. However.. 75% through was the game changer. I wasn't fond of what happened after nor the secrets and lies that were told because of one stupid remark from Ben's asshole of a brother. However the ending worked, and I did still love both main characters, flaws and all.

I have to say this is the first MF book from Ann Lister that I've read and I loved it.

Sydney is a very famous and sort out photographer who has been hired to tour with the rock group Reckless on their 6 month tour, although the money is great she is not too happy with the idea of being around rock stars almost 24/7. Due to past experiences with rockers Syd comes off as very B***hy which in turn brings us to lead singer Ben Gallo who has hired Syd and let's just say their initial meeting did not

If you’re familiar with my reviews then you know that I’ve read quite a few famous rock stars novels, some were fan-freaking-tastic and others were simply okay. Well, I am happy to report that I have just added another novel to my rock star list: For All the Right Reasons by Ann Lister, and it was pretty darn good. There were some clichéd moments, but for the most part this was an original novel. Ann Lister wrot

This book was an interesting read for me, interesting in the sense that I liked the story and the direction of the book, but I didn’t really get into the characters all that well. Maybe it was just me or that I didn’t really find any of the other characters in this book all that interesting?

With the exception of Ben and Sydney, I didn’t really get into the other characters, they seemed off or inconsistent. Or certain scenes didn’t play out realistically, at least not to me. But the s

This is the second book of Ann Lister's I have read, this one following Sheet Music. I was really enjoying this book which contained all of the emotional tug of war, passion filled pages that the first one did until I reached about 70% into the book and then the unimaginable, unforgivable turn of events that happened rocked me to the core. The twist that the author springs 3/4 into this book made me feel differently about this book. I'm not sure if that's a fair assessment, but this event was so ...more

I have started this book, but am only on page 17 and HATE Syd. She is such a -itch! She makes me cringe with her attitude towards Ben. She doesn't even give the guy the benefit of the doubt he may be telling the truth about things just assumes he saying them to get in her pants. How conceited can one chick be? I understand she has had others famous people hit on her but when you its your job to take pictures of people, you'd think you would be NICE to them so they dont fire your ass and possibly ...more

The story of Sydney & Ben was quite endearing. Sydney was a women with a traumatic past and Ben was a man ready to break through that wall. I think the author did a great job in telling of the development of their relationship. Although at times I thought Sydney was going a bit too far, with the telling of her past, it helped excuse that fact. The author made Ben the perfect fit for Sydney and made him patient and loving. Only drawback that I just didn't see coming or how it even fit with th ...more

I quite enjoyed this book. The story of Sydney Williams and her developing relationship with rock star Ben. Sydney appears as an ice queen to the band after a terrible incident in her younger years. Ben is keen to know her. A terrible misunderstanding and an unfortunate secret causes problems.

I loved this story and Ben, Sydney on the other hand did something terrible to Ben and I struggled to understand why.

Great story.

Another great one by Ann Lister! Rock'N'Roll, love, steam, drama, and action nothing shows more passion than music and the people behind it. Ann has an amazing way of pulling you into a story and making it feel like it actually happened! Spanning over long periods of time, she allows to have the story really develop rather than having insta love connections that in the real world normally don't work out x I am really looking forward to the next one!

SYNDEY: First impression: Dislike her attitude…
Find out her story: Can understand…kinda….
Start to warm towards her: THEN…..absolutely despise her!
End of story: Happy for her.
BEN: First impression: awwwwww!!!
Middle of story: awwwww!!
End of story: what a guy!!!

Story has lots of emotional scenes…..very good plot, very good narration.

I enjoyed this book and it was definitely a page turner but, I was disappointed with Sydney our heroine who was just a little to wishy washy for my taste. I like a strong female lead who knows what she wants and goes for it. Sydney's insecurities started to really bug me and it is why I am giving this book 3 stars.

Sometimes, you fall into a book. This one came about because someone in a book club ( thank you Sian) posted a description and could not remember the title. Others responded and I checked it out and what a gem. Wonderful story. Read the synopsis, a very good book, and please do not be put off by the beginning with Sydney being a total ice queen, she had her reasons. Fantastic 5*'s

Lovely Read!

Love this author! Really liked Ben and Sydney a lot. Lots of drama in the beginning of the story, but it gets to a good place for these two.

I loved this story but mainly because of Ben Gallo. He is lead singer and charismatic frontman for the band Reckless. He is also looking for a meaningful relationship and he thinks he has found the yin to his yang when their new tour manager arrives.

Sydney, or Syd as she prefers to be called, is hired on yet another long tour for a famous rock band. When Ben actively pursues Syd she fights it for many long weeks. Finally, Ben wins her over and they begin a loving relationship. When a
