I really like this book because I think my ancestors came from west Africa
So it makes me happy about learning about my country's so I can finally learn how to cook different types of food

Definitely a beginner book, very accessible and it starts with a simple overview of the large region! Great for a school project, but also accessible recipes for adults just thinking what to cook and branch out.

Although, the recipe for Jolof rice was rather suspicious, this is still a helpful book to introduce people to west African cuisine.

A slim hardbound book that appears to be for teens. It is mostly vegetarian and has simple easy to follow recipes.
