A delightful little book for those who want to fill in gaps in their knowledge of American literature. Quick read, short blurbs on books and authors. Lots of interesting facts you didn't realize you didn't know.
I love reading recommendations of books and I liked the breadth of choices this book presented. Also loved the follow up choices. Spans current and past American novels with a good mixture. Definitely more books to add to my to be read lists though I'm afraid I could never read them all in my remaining lifetime but at least I like having a new list to pick from.
