I bought this because I fell in love with the illustrations, and it included a wide variety of stories. Sometimes I was uncomfortable with amount of literary license, but overall it was engaging.

Although engaging to my kindergartener, it borders right on the edge of adding things to the Holy Bible and events are presented out of order. There are much better children's bibles out there; skip this one.

I read this to Samma a lot. The pictures are great, they get to the heart of the story for a child.
