I grabbed this book to inspire my teen who has just gotten into making amigarumi animals and other little 'friends.' She really enjoyed making a lot of the little friends. Lots of inspiration to make things using snippets and bits.

The title pretty much says it all. This is amigurumi using fabric instead of yarn. The instructions are a little sketchy (literally!) but in the end you should have a whole raft of little big-eyed creatures to cuddle and love.

Cute projects!
Good = Full size patterns, so no enlarging.
Bad = Everything is super tiny. That means hard to sew and hard to turn.

This is such a cute book.
Many of the projects are adorable.
I've finished two of them so far and plan on more.
The instructions are easy and clear. The only thing that is difficult about these little toys are that they are SO SMALL.
Turning everything inside out is difficult and a test in patience, but my two youngest love their chihuahuas and my oldest child is anticipating his jack russel terrier.

Top marks for tiny & cute. The softies are adorable. The patterns & ideas part is pretty cheeky IMO - tiny little drawings with microscopic handwritten instructions like "sew together" and "add eyes". Cute instructions for sure- practical, not so much. Great gallery photos & staging, lots of variety.

Lots of cute critters to choose from! I can't wait to make some of these. They use lots of types of fabric, so will be perfect for all the scraps I have sitting around in the studio. Now, which one to make first?

The 4 stars are for the cuteness of the projects. I've yet to actually try the patterns, though.
