Lots of cats live in the area and Marmaduke is eager to share the information that he sees in a book from the garbage. He believes that the tiger is related to him and that they will visit the relative at the zoo. When the meet his "uncle" nothing goes as planned. Marmaduke will no longer post of his "relative."
