Terwijl handelen, m.i., toch eigen is aan heldendom.

Znam wczesniejsze ksiazki tejze pani i absolutnie je uwielbiam. Ta powiesc jest dla mnie osobistym rozczarowaniem. Postacie mdle i nijakie, fabula.... hmmm jeszcze gorzej. Tylko styl pisania jak zwykle wspanialy.

It’s not the story itself, but the way the story is written. For this, Olga almost deserves 5 stars. She writes about time and its transience by revealing the destinies of 3 women, 3 generations actually, so delicately, but strongly interwined. Though connected by blood, each woman has a very distinct and independent story.

When do you start dying? Can you name the precise moment ? The question was raised so my mind started looking for an answer. And I found it. But maybe life it’s not like a mountain peak from where you can only climb down, maybe it’s more like hills and valleys and so I’m not dying inside, I’m just on my own road with my ups and downs.
There are 2 kind of truths? At least. The true one and the one that we see through our so different lenses.
Franciszek Porayski-Pomsta
Autorka przedstawia nam tu trzy historie. Nie każda z nich przypadła mi do gustu.
Pierwsza jest bardzo trudna do przebrnięcia.
Druga mnie całkowicie zachwyciła i wreszcie poczułem TĘ Tokarczuk.
