I couldn't stand Maitland's cousin, Felton, and Stephanie too. D:

That aside, I totally liked this book and Will and Georgianne. <3

This is a tale of mistaken identity on a number of levels. The heir to a fortune, or at least a part of it, it is the duty of two supposed gentlemen to discover who the long-lost child is. Eventually the honourable Major falls for the gentlewoman, while the horrid Fenton falls for Stephanie. But then, he thinks she's not the heiress, and so breaks off with her only to realise his mistake. A bit convoluted, but still an okay read.

I really liked this book. It had some really good scenes. I liked the characters, the humor, and the emotions. The confusion and searching were good and the end was page-turning. I would read this book again, but more for a cuddle-up or passing the time. Enjoy
