This book continued my research into kitten development, behaviour and psychology, all in service of helping my six foster kittens grow into healthy, happy and problem-free cats. Despite having spent three decades with cats, I learnt so much from reading this book cover to cover: particularly interesting sections covered history, behavioural problems and learning and training. I feel confident now that I can not only raise cats successfully but also pass any feline pop quiz that should come my way!

This says similar things to The Kitten Whisperer by Claire Bessant, who is one of the co-authors on this book. I actually like this one better because it gives more details and has many more pictures, including a very helpful picture about telling the sex of your cat.

Liked the part about using a harness/leash to train your kitty since we are currently working on that with our two new kittens. Very helpful!
