Pray's writing is good and the story was an interesting twist on a dystopian future. Combining bdsm elements of SM and M/s with demons is not surprising, but the reason for their presence is. The character development was steady, but in all honesty this is part one of the story. The story has a natural stopping point, but it does not resolve the issues set forth.
