Beautiful fossils are all around us, even though many people are not aware of it? How to discover these ancient treasures? The book DISCOVERING FOSSILS by Donald S. Miller can answer this and many more questions related to fossils. It is a perfect book for amateur fossil collectors. because it explains everything important about fossils. For example it explains the timeline of Earth history and how to find fossils and safety, law, and tools related to this process. In the last chapter, there are picture samples of common fossils. The book deserves 4.5 out of 5 stars, because it helps you create solid knowledge of fossils. However, if you do not live in North America you might be disappointed because the author does not explain how to look for fossils in different geographical areas.
