This was fascinating for stretches, and a drag for other stretches. As if the authors were wildly interested in some aspects of Laforet's life, and wildly bored by others - as I suppose is true of most biographies to some degree, but it really shows here. There's a lot of detail, but also a lot of speculation. They talk about Laforet's "illness" without ever specifying what it is, they talk about "shattering experiences" or "terrible moments" without any description... And yet somehow this stran ...more

It is a terrible book! I don´t understand to write about a great an interesting writer with such poor arguments, and always trying to bring you to the biographist opinion. Seams just to be sensationalist. Don´t read it.

Me ha parecido una de las mejores, más completas y más documentadas biografías que he leído (sobretodo teniendo en cuenta el personaje del que se trata, lo esquivo que era su personalidad y el mimo con el que se le retrata)
