This book comes in English and Dutch editions. If you’re still learning Dutch, this version is definitely recommended. There are subtleties to cooking that might get lost in translation. This book offers several different categories of recipes: classic sauces, breakfast brunch and lunch, cakes with tea and coffee, appetizers and snacks, soups, mashed dishes and other one-pan dishes, main courses, vegetables and side-dishes, and desserts. Due to the wide selection of categories, it narrowed down the number of recipes per category. Some people might find this lacking. The food accuracy seems very correct, and a few of the dishes made my fellow Hollanders drool. The photographs and colors of the book are bright, and the text is decently sized. I recommend using this book.
