This book takes me back to a simpler time in my mind. When adults with something to share woul dcome around to your class room and give talk, whether it was about owl, ground hogs and squirrels. Grasses creeks or any other wonderful thing. Hands on was always the best.

Reminiscent of growing up in the 60's and 70's, these delightful stories share how the love of nature brings people together in companionship. I will never forget, Mrs. King, my high school biology teacher and her obsession with critters in nature.
