All of the stories in this book are just samples of bigger stories.

I prefer to read a whole book and not just the beginning of it.

This is just first chapters of books. I read the first one. There is no resolution. I guess if you're too lazy to download the samples for each book on your Kindle, this will save you 5 minutes. But just for reading, forget it. These aren't standalone stories, so unless you're planning on buying all the books, it's not worth it.

It's a sampler of teasers from various young adult and children's book authors. I'm not sure why it was titled "Swashbuckling" Fantasy. To me that implied adventure and pirates. Many were more dystopia-type stories. It's a good way to get an idea of which series one would want to get into.
