When Calleigh Wells recieved news of her husbands death, she recieves support from two unexpected sources. Three years later, the two men who have been her rock during her grief and helped raised her sons are wanting to move to the next step. Rick Conner and Conor McGuire have loved Calleigh since the moment they met her, they know they can make a relationship work if she can accept the two of them.

Loved this book, Conor is Irish and elevates the story with his creative way of expressing himsel

Recommends it for: the hard up for something to read until the next good one comes out
Been there, done that. No, I mean, literally. Ahem.

This was menage-a-boring. How these three came together was a little too perfect to be interesting. Now in my personal life I don't believe in TMI, but somehow that doesn't work in romance novels for me and why Caleigh would be putting her kids at risk by letting everyone get up all in her bizness is a puzzle to me. Ok, well, maybe if I had two hot guys pleasuring me all the time (it has, those were those days...) maybe I'd be br

I was really surprised at how much I loved this book, and I liked it more because it was more about how a menage relationship could work. Calleigh meets Rick Conner and Conor McGuire on the worst day of her life...the day she found out her husband was killed in action leaving her alone with 2 month old twins. After that dark day, the guys are determined to be there for her no matter what. Eventually feelings evolve into a deep love from their friendship and unfailing support. Not only are the ro ...more

Let me just say that this book was boring once I realized that Rick and Coner weren't lovers or even bi I sort of lost some interest. I gave this book 3 stars because I liked the story of the
mother in law and how she disapproved if the relationship the sex scenes were boring I mean ok it was three of them and Coner did touch Rick once sexually and he liked it I wonder what he would have did if he bent down and sucked him. Overall the book was well written.

This story immediatly broke my heart. I could feel her struggle with how to cope and deal with one day to the next. I was glad that for a change there was not so much of a struggle or a resistance about the relationship between the parties involved persay but those around them. It made it refreshing to see the sold unit standing tall in front of whatever came their way. I also have to say that I LOVED THE ACCENT! SO GOOD JOB Ms. Lane! I would recommend!

I like that this book focused on what happens after a menage finds each other, because in our society it's not easily accepted, which is a damn shame. I wish the Miles thing hadn't just "worked itself out"; I feel like that storyline should have been either explained or removed.

WOW! This was the first time I've read about kids involved in a relationship.
I really enjoyed this one - it wasn't all about the sex, but it about friendship and love, and total misunderstanding people...

When the book first starts out, Calleigh is at a coffee shop trying to decide if she wants her usual or to be adventurous and get a new flavor.. when her phone rings, she's startled to find out that her husband was injured in the line of duty. When she asked how bad he was hurt, all they told

Here's the problem of The Perfect Union.

A successful romantic menage story involves steamy sex, a somewhat decent plot ("romance/love" angle), and a dose of realism, even in the fantasy.

So my problem is that I'm getting introduced to the menage aspect in the beginning, and at one point the two cookie cutter leads "crowd" the woman. Her first thoughts regarding the situation is like, oh this is sexy. They probably don't mean anything by it, but it'd be nice to be the ice cream in the sandwich. T

Hello Good Readers!

Let me start by saying, I read this book because it was recommended after reading Kelly Jamieson's Rule of Three series. Plus the reviews suggested it was every bit as emotion filled rather than just sex.

The good?
The sex was pretty darned hot *fans self* My husband certainly 'enjoyed' this book if you know what I mean ;) Also, there was definitely more emotional and family ties in this book than most menage novels, so that was great. I really enjoyed the family element. Conn
The best way I can describe this book is a menage on easy listening. It was really good and the sex was plentiful and very hot. It was very sweet, very loving and at times, a little too precious for me, but overall a great book that I really enjoyed. And I could totally buy into THIS menage scenario...the guys were friends with Calleigh AND her sons for three years before they got physical, so there was a strong friendship base, Calleigh was not a newbie to the menage scene, all of them made the ...more

A very good menage contemporary short story. This is the first book in the Perfect Love series by Trina Lane. Great chemistry between all 3 characters. It would have been great to read as a full length novel.

Calleigh Wells life changed when she first received the phone call to inform her that her husband Kevin, an Army Reserve serving in Iraq got injured. She was standing in line to order her coffee when she received the horrific news. It just so happens best friends, Rick O'Connor and Conor McG

4.5 out of 5. First in a series, Trina Lane has told the story of an Iraq War widow left with infant twin sons and a life that has been shattered by that loss. Enter two hunky guys who were in the coffee shop when she received the phone call that her husband had been injured, a call that was in error: he wasn't just injured, he was dead. Rick and Conor take Calleigh home and begin their presence in her life as her emotional stabilizers, becoming her best friends, and ultimately becoming her love ...more

Nice quick love story...menage love story and who can't love two hot guys giving all their attention to one lady. Seriously, Calleigh Wells husband dies in Iraq and Rick and Conor happen to be right there when she hears the news. Helping her adjust for last two years they've all grown really close and the guys want to take it to the next level. Calleigh has also grown close and is ready as well. The sex was hot for sure. I loved how the Rick and Conor were with her two twin boys. The c

This is a really really sweet story of love and acceptance. It is not a complicated story, two men meet a woman on the worst day of her life and become friends with her from then on, they both then fall in love with her and together show her she can have them both and they can be a family together. it is really that simple you get the dead husbands mother kicking up a stink to add a bit of drama and it works, it does have you holding your breathe

First off this is NOT M/M or M/M/F book! It is strickly a M/F/M book. (Well Conner does touch Rick's dick one time to lube it up but that is as far as it goes) Evidently the rest of Trina Lane's series is, but not this one.

I did like the story line and enjoyed the "family" sense it brought to the story. The controversary starts when Callie's mother-in-law (from her dead husband who died in the war) finds out about her living arrangements and is determined to take her twin boys away.

Love this one - i have read it multiple times and it is just as good each time i read it. Love the fact that this is about a family unit and how they integrate children etc...

Update: i am apparently in the mood to re-read some of my old favorites. And i still loved this one just as much as i did the last time that i read it.

It broke my heart when Calleigh lost her husband. It made me smile when Rick and Conner let her know they wanted more than friendship. It made me HOT when they showed her just how much more.
This is a love story, plain and simple. It was refreshing and well written. I loved Conner's accent, well done.

Not what I expected. I thought there was great potential with the military storyline, but that was not explored fully. All in all, not a bad read. I made it to the end, unlike some books.

This book was short and sweet. I liked that there wasn't any hugely long courting time between the characters. They just jumped right in and it was good.
