Rave and Kain were lovers working for the Alliance when Rave was falsely arrested for smuggling and sent to prison. As this happened Kain just so conveniently disappeared, leaving him dangling in the wind. A couple of years later, after getting out of prison (badly damaged by his treatment there) Rave and his best friend Sela are running a transport ship. Even though Rave knows Kain is still alive he avoids him until Kain comes on the ship and tells him it was all a big plot and know th

There's nothing better than a kick-ass space romp. When I found out Jambrea had a m/m space romance, I knew I had to get it. Rave is a fantastically wounded hero, who has been betrayed by the man he loves. Kain doesn't understand the full extent of what has been going on behind his back. When he has a chance to get back into Rave's life, he takes it.

The action is compelling and the sex burns up the pages. If I had one complaint about the book is that it wasn't long enough. I wanted more!! I can

The idea of the story was good but the end result wasn't that good. It was short so maybe that's why it didn't deliver ! I'll probably read the next one ,read some good reviews.

Retribution is a fitting name for a spaceship owned by a man who has been betrayed, survived hell (i.e., the worst prison planet in existence), and has barely managed to rebuild his life two years later. Set in a world of intrigue, espionage, and dark machinations, this story may be more space opera than science fiction, but that made it no less enjoyable to read for me. I like trying to figure out a future world where different groups of planets – the Alliance versus the Royalists in this case ...more

I love a good intrigue mixed in with some science fiction - some hot loving - and this book surely did not disappoint. After two years of thinking Kain is dead, Rave finally thinks he was over him until he walks back into his life and starts to explain how everything from the beginning was a set-up. Rave does not trust anyone but Sela, who is Kain's cousin, and his sister. It is very difficult and frustrating to let anyone in his li

Good story but a couple more love scenes would have been appreciated.

Jambrea wanted to be the youngest romance author published, but life impeded the dreams. She put her writing aside and went to college briefly, then enlisted in the Air Force. After serving in the military, she returned home to Indiana to start her family. A few years later, she discovered yahoo groups and book reviews. There was no turning back. She was bit by the writing bug.
