Hakurei, el hermano gemelo del Patriarca y el maestro de Jamir, se enfrenta a Hypnos, el dios del sueño. Empero, sus discípulos, Yuzuriha y Shion, lo siguen y éste se ve obligado a enseñarles una técnica que lleva esperando ser ejecutada por 200 años, ya que guarda todo el rencor y la esperanza de los Caballeros que murieron en la guerra pasada.
Hakurei les regaña y les dice que no es momento para que jóvenes como ellos mueran tan pronto y, en un descuido, es herido mortalmente por Hades, quien ya no tiene rastros de la amabilidad de Alone.
Tenma y los demás están esperando atacar el castillo de Hades y aunque Hakurei se encargó de la barrera que reduce el poder de los Caballeros de Athena, lo cierto es que no puede hacer mucho y se agrega un sacrificio más a la lista interminable de Caballeros caídos.
Ahora es el turno de Dohko de Libra, quien otrora fuese como un hermano mayor para Pegaso. ¿Acaso llegará el momento en que deje de perder a camaradas y maestros, y por fin puedan ponerle un alto al Dios del Inframundo?
Este volumen contiene los capítulos 88 – 96.

Athena’s army is finally sent toward Hades’ castle!
I didn’t buy this manga but my brother actually bought the complete manga collection of the saga, therefore he lent me this volume to be able of reading it. My brother bought the Spanish translated version but I am choosing the English edition to make the review easier to work and to avoid having to do a bilingual review. I apologize in advance if I’d mispronounce some name or term on English since I am actually reading the books on Spanish.
This manga volume collects “Saint Seiya – The Lost Canvas” chapters #88-96.

HAKUREI’S MISSION!
Hakurei, the old man from Jamir takes the mantle as the Patriarch sending all Athena’s army toward Hades’ castle, all available Gold, Silver and Bronze saints, but also all the foot soldiers too, however soon enough they’re ordered to remain position at the feet of the mountain where Hades’ castle is, since there is the infamous Hades’ barrier that weakens the power of any person who isn’t a specter downing to their tenth percent. The Gold saints could still have a fighting chance but any other warrior in Athena’s army would became almost defenseless, so…
…the Hades’ barrier must be destroyed and that’s the mission of Hakurei!
Ares Shion and Crane Yuzuriha tried to follow Hakurei and assist him but soon they’ree trapped by Hypnos, god of Sleep!
Now, it’s a titanic battle between Hakurei empowered by the Athena’s sword and Hypnos!
However, Alone now totally converted to Hades will appear too!
But also Pegassus Tenma and Libra Dohko will appear to try to balance the struggle!
Here, it’s the final manga volume that was adapted into the anime series!
