The authors reveal what they believe is Barack Obama’s shocking and cohesive plan to take over the government, the elections, the economy, the American consciousness and even Americans' personal freedoms.
John Kenneth Blackwell is an American politician and activist who served as the mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio from 1979 to 1980 and Ohio Secretary of State from 1999 to 2007. A Republican, he was the first African-American to be the candidate for governor of a major party in Ohio. In 2006, Blackwell was the Republican candidate for the seat of Governor of Ohio. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Republican National Committee's Platform Committee and was a candidate for chairman of the RNC. Additionally, he currently serves as senior fellow for family empowerment at the Family Research Council.
They say that hindsight is 20/20, and it's true. But I am encouraged to know that much of what Blackwell and Klukowski say in this book I had already known in outline BEFORE the election of Barak Obama. In fact, I think that most Americans, who were paying attention, could have gleamed a rough Obama agenda with just a little effort. But Americans are busy people. We work hard, we play hard, we like to be entertained.
Barak seemed to be well spoken. His predecessor, Mr. Bush, was busy committing, as Bill Cunningham says, financial misdemeaners and we were tired of it. We didn't have time to find out that Obama's agenda included the commission of financial felonies, and worse. When I described Obama from the beginning of his presidency as a socialist, many people thought I'd gone off the deep end. By July 2010, it being readily apparent, you could have said that and only ruffled the feathers of socialists who still think they can keep it a secret.
Another reason Obama was elected, is that Americans, being people of good will, and working to correct past racism, were eager to elect a plausible black candidate. Little did they know how readily Obama allies would use the race card as a club to beat back those who see the threat they pose to American liberties.
It's ironic realy, that Ken Blackwell authored this blueprint. Here is a great American Conservative who would have made a superb governor here in Ohio, who recieved nothing but ridicule from our biased liberal press, and little support even among Ohio Republicans. We had a chance to elect, at least here in Ohio, a great conservative black leader, but we wasted it instead on a man who has no clue of American values, Constitional principles and free enterprise traditions, or if he does, seeks to actively destroy them.
It's not to late. We must repent. Those fair-weather Democrats who elected this mistake should be a reading book like this! It gives a clear and concise view of just what Barak Obama and his allies are up to. There's 2010 and then again 2012. The tide can be turned.
A great book. I'd reccomend it to anyone who votes, but especially to liberals who need to wake up and smell the coffee.
Well, when I picked this book up at the library, I thought they were kidding. When I found out they were serious, I literally cracked up. The authors Blackwell and Klukowski honestly believe that Obama has an ulterior motive as President and that he is a radical Communist with no respect for religion nor for anyone's rights. Anyone who watches Fox News for factual commentary will thoroughly enjoy and understand this book...anyone who is slightly farther left on the political spectrum than Adolf Hitler will consider this useless.
Overall verdict: Interesting, far-fetched idea, book not well-substantiated because of too many contradicting facts. For a more accurate and informative book on politics, try Jon Stewart's "America".
The authors have created a well reasoned indictment that President Obama has set out to destroy the US Constitution, erode the rights of American citizens, and create a socialist dictatorship. This work should get the reader to examine the opposing viewpoints and reach their own conclusions. The Blueprint is well documented and covers the president's action for the past seven years.
A CRITIQUE OF THE OBAMA PRESIDENCY BY A PROMINENT REPUBLICAN
Ken Blackwell was of course the controversial Chief Elections Official of Ohio during the 2004 election, while he was also the honorary co-chair of the "Committee to Re-Elect George W. Bush." He and lawyer/journalist Ken Klukowski wrote in the introduction to this 2010 book, "President Barack Obama has a different vision for America than that of our Founders... What you are about to read is a breakdown of the staggering number of changes Obama is attempting to make to our country... here's President Obama's blueprint for building a permanent liberal nation upon the ruins of American exceptionalism." (Pg. 21)
He observes that "While other presidents have had one or two appointees nicknamed 'czars,' Barack Obama is using dozens of czars to actually run much of the federal government... whole areas of national policy have been taken inside the White House and vested in these czars, removed from the democratic process... while Bush and previous presidents had five or fewer czars, President Obama has more than thirty... Together, these czars form a shadow government." (Pg. 26-28) He suggests, "If he could abolish state sovereignty, then Barack Obama would become the chief authority figure in every aspect of life in America. It's the ultimate power grab. That's what President Obama's blueprint is all about." (Pg. 133)
He admits that "Other presidents had stimulus bills before, the most recent before Obama's being George W. Bush's stimulus in 2008. But as we've seen with other issues in this book, President Obama took it to a whole new level. His stimulus bill was a shocking---utterly unprecedented and jaw-dropping---$787 billion. The federal government had never dropped that kind of cash before---on anything." (Pg. 161)
He argues, "At the core of President Obama's power grab to build an imperial presidency is his rejecting these constraints and refusing to restrain himself and his allies... he ignores the traditions and self-constraints that all three branches have developed over more than two centuries to keep our republic running." (Pg. 250)
While highly critical of the administration, this book is somewhat more "civil" in tone than many of the other critiques currently in print. It contains some good information and challenging arguments, and is a thought-provoking read.
"Ken Blackwell and Ken Klukowski offer compelling arguments and insights demonstrating that much of President Obama's agenda undermines...America's system of limited government that keeps us free." —Edwin Meese III, former U.S. attorney general
"The Blueprint proves beyond a doubt that much of Barack Obama's power grab is more than just terrible for our economy; it's unconstitutional. Share this book with your friends." —Steve Forbes

Outstanding Book!!! Serves as a great Book to Read as a reference guide for future elections, or for anyone seeking the truth pertaining to the radical Liberal agenda currently being pushed into our lives by Barack Hussein Obama and his Liberal Democrat cronies...
It's really too bad that more Americans who care what's happening to their country didn't read this book before the 2012 election. Stanley Kurtz kick-started my inquiries into the stealth agenda the "little-m" messiah has crafted and is carrying out. Blackwell and Kuklowski only confirm it.
This lays it all out, step by step. Very readable. Amazing how much progress he has made in implementing his plan in just 3 years. It is absolutely frightening !
