Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for this when I read it.

Somewhat entertaining? Yes. Wholly unforgettable? Yes...

2.5/3 stars?
The plot was actually pretty good, but the ridiculous romance was...um...yeah...ugh.

Caleb & Joshua Benett w/ Sarah. While I thought this book had a decent story line & some pretty hot scenes, I'm just not into the traveling stories. But I plan to check out the next book and see what it holds.

A light fluffy type read. Not enough smut for me to rate it higher, regretfully.

This is one of my all-time favorite series. What I love about it most is that the first two books start at the beginning of a family saga and the third takes us to more modern times with their ancestors. What started with Caleb, Joshua and Sarah and also Adam, Warren and Amanda, follows through every book thereafter. The town they start to build on the foundation of love and acceptance, free to live and love as they chose without censure or ridicule becomes a haven for future generations. In mor

I started this series from the beginning because some of the later books caught my eye. This book however was lack-luster. Maybe I wasnt in a historical mood. You really do have to be in the mood for "oh I dont know what an orgasm is". *eye roll*
Overall it set the series up well. I am going to read the next several just cause I am a touch OCD and dont like skipping around in a series. With that being said, while I did like the book somewhat I still caught myself skimming through parts of it so ...more

Sold into a marriage to a man that she doesn't even think likes her Sarah is now headed to Texas with two handsome gunslingers as her escorts...Caleb and Joshua are normally very strict with how they treat women, but after a few close calls they can't deny the pull they both feel for Sarah. Can all of this possibility pan out right and what about her husband...amazing intro into a new series I know the first two books aren't really considered part of the Lusty series but I'm sure I'm not the onl

Once I decided to just go with this one I enjoyed it. Part of my issues were that while set in the wild west the tone and phrasing seemed to modern, the other issue was how Sarah seemed to accept things too quickly.
I did like how the three of them together and liked seeing Sarah become more aware of the world. I also liked seeing how the brothers friends were right there to help them out and didn't bat an eye at the way things were with them. I especially liked how things ended, mostly because t ...more

Takes you to the very beginning of how the town in the series was found and the values it was founded on. The story is filled with intrigue, a little mystery and of course a lot of love. Sarah is everything a woman would need to be in the west - gotta love a woman who speaks her mind. Ms. Covington grabs your interest from the beginning and holds it to the very end!

2.5 stars
The characters are too flat to hold my interest, and the plot is highly predictable (except for the m-m elements of secondary characters in the story)...not to mention the hilariously awful cover.

Ugh this book was so good! Everything about it had my heart racing! It was sweet, the suspense from the crime that was going on (Trying not to spoil it) was great. Overall it was a really great book.

Love this book so much. From the beginning to the end of it. Can't wait to read the next one in this series

An enjoyable, well written story but not quite enough to really get myself involved with the characters. Having said that the story's resolution is a good one and a nice way to tie up loose ends.
