A Spanking Good Time that Y’all Should read!
This review is based on the first 3 books in this series as a whole. I found that each of these books help to lay the foundation for the rest of the series. Yes the first book is sexually graphic – it is a BDSM Erotic series with multiple partners, toys, spanking, etc. but it is done in a very classy & hot way. While there is no guy-on-guy play, all of the play is done with people who are consenting adults and the guys all love the gal as much as she loves them (even if they won’t come out and admit it!). Book 1 – Untamed Hearts - is Natalie’s first book, so as you read through the series you can see how much Natalie has grown as an author which I think is a really neat aspect that only adds to the charm of this series. Yes this book is a little “rough around the edges” and while this was not my favorite book, I found that even though it was lacking in some ways, it really helps to set the stage for the next books by explaining & detailing the whole Master-Sub-Slave relationship & the BDSM way of life. Book 2 – Unfinished Business really starts the main storyline for this series and gives you get a lot more detail into their business and organization called the Underground Unit. The sex & relationships are still there, but I feel that because the BDSM was explained in the first book, the focus can shift to the people, the missions and the relationships. While it does start with the death of one of their leaders, there is a lot more “meat” to the stories and it makes this such a fantastic read. Of course there are some secrets that come out along the way, but they only make this book even better. Be prepared to cry both sad and happy tears!! I was actually surprised with how much I enjoyed this book!!! Book 3 – Unsettled Debts continues the story of the Underground Unit. This time with a new team and their mission which has also come about due to the death of one of their own and the need for revenge. The difference with this book was that the men are not brothers and the gal is one of their own agents. They have been a team for 5+ years with no one crossing the professional/personal line. I liked this story even better than Unfinished Business because it wasn’t about brothers loving the same woman, there was no “weak little female” to love & protect – it was all about a group of men each coming to terms with their feelings regarding their fellow agent and the flip side of that with how Abby deals with all of “her” men! Overall I thoroughly enjoyed these three books and can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!

This was an entirely different set up. I can't believe I was able to get through the end of it. First off, I am a very jealous person so I want the hero/heroes or any man in the story to be hung up on the heroine. Never have I ever liked it when the man has another girl. In here they have Kelsie and it really shows how much they love her. And I feel bad for Veronica cause she's like no love and all. When Kelsie died I accepted it. And when Benson did, I didn't like it. He would have love Veronica too right?
Then there's Dusty's love for Veronica and I couldn't ask for more. I didn't really get the ending, is Drew gonna be with them? It doesn't feel like it. At the same time, I agree with their predicament that Veronica was given more than what was given to Kelsie. Her ability to be independent was a huge thing and as much as I don't like it, they were right. Veronica did have more than Kelsie.
I love Veronica's wit and her attitude. It's an attitude that you look up to. And her exchanges with Dusty (sexual remarks) was so funny too. Especially before they were fucking.
And King Cock. That was fucking hilarious.
But I'm just glad they have Sloane happy now.
Yet I still think they have unresolved issues. Veronica is hiding some things from the boys and she needs to open up.

Absolutely Fascinating from beginning to end, packed with none stop action and excitement. Veronica has to be the strongest and smartest female character in a book I’ve ever read about. And all five of the male roles are sensational, extreme and wild. I would like one day to feel half the love Kelsie felt from one of these men, and a ounce of the bravery veronica has. Natalie Acres does such a good job describing these characters, there personality’s and bits of their past you feel like you have known them forever. The revenge, passion, love and secrets packed into this book about underground agent repaying a truly evil man for all he’s done to them makes for a satisfying read.
Natalie not only has very descriptive writing but a wild erotic imagination that places you right in the arms of these men. The action scenes are written so intense that you can’t put the book down. It almost feels like your invading someone’s privacy but you can’t turn your head. Natalie defiantly not only has a passion for writing and words but is full of passion herself. I would recommend this book to any romantic, passionate or erotic readers.

After reading the first novel in this series, I found that I really wanted to continue my literary exposure to the Underground Unit persons--complete with their issues and somewhat skewed love life. Payback is never fun, and this book is about managing revenge on the leader of a crime cartel that has singed all the operatives as the loss of their leader and his family. Their close personal and emotional response to those deaths is especially sharp given the close relationship between the leader and the one woman in the unit. It is not a simple boy meets girl story--it is complicated with undercover action and exposes the evil that thinks little of using and throwing away people for one's own pleasure or power. Abby and the men of the unit are deeply connected as all are really in love with her. It is a very erotic tale and twists and turns, goes hither and yon, but in the end, it all comes together very nicely. Ms Acres is a very good writer!!

This is the second in Ms. Acres cowboy Boots series and it was a little different then the first. We have a different group of men but the same type of scenario. We have a submissive female character and all the Remington brothers who are again not what they seem. Another BDSM relationship between a single women and multiple men. This story was based around the love all these men had for one women and the lengths they would go to protect her. We are introduced to a second strong female character that tempt the men and they don't know how to handle her. This story line was based on loss,tragedy,betrayal, temptation, secrets, love and revenge. There were a lot of emotions and I cried many times. The male characters were strong alpha males loyal to the core and had very big hearts. The story has lots of guns, series battles and a lot of testosterone. An excellent read but make sure you have some tissues as you are going to need them.

This is by far my favorite of the series thus far....I know I know it is only book 2, but I have read the whole series multiple times. Make sure you have tissues by you at all times.
I cannot imagine thinking my life is perfect, only for fate to step in. Veronica finds herself with the very men she wished she had. They are so off limits to her though. But after loss after loss and about a box at tissues, who will find comfort in her arms.
There are many struggles here. Once you loved, can you love again? How soon is too soon? Stay or go?
This story will rip out your heart and then put it back together. Yes there will be a few cracks, and a missing piece or two, but this book is totally worth it.

This is book 2 in the Cowboy Boots series and is my favorite so far in all the books I’ve read from Natalie Acres. This is action packed and fast paced from the beginning and it doesn’t slow down once. There is loss, revenge, temptation, tragedy, secrets, and of course, hot sex. It’s a definite emotional roller coaster ride, and you need to make sure to have your Kleenex on hand.
The character description is fantastic and you fall in love with all of them. Strong alpha males who love and are loyal through and through plus sexy as all get out, what more could you want. Once I started, I could not put this down. While Dusty is my favorite, the phone call at the end from Sloane took my breath away. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a thrilling, action packed, erotic read.

This book met all my requirements to be a 5 * read. Loved it. It had a few tearful moments, a few sexy moments, some action, and some intrigue. This is book 2 in this series and I have to say it is better written with more of a plot than the first and I liked the first one. The men are so sexy in this series. They are devoted to their woman and so honest with them. The women are honest right back and this makes for some great scenes and HEA's Like I said this book has some tearful moments yet it made the ending so much better when they got their happy ending.
