Very repetitive format, so it is easier for early readers to catch on to what might be coming next.

I appreciate that all of the words for this book are listed in the front cover, so they can be reviewed before attempting to read the story.

This book talks about all the different animals at the zoo and what they do. It is a good resource for the preschooler to learn about the animal. The books are drawn in simple lines and simple color and it is easy for the kid to study what is the animal looks like.

This is a very simple basic 'first Start Easy Reader'.... cute using zoo animals to help teach young readers to read. Also you can incorporate "Big" and "Little" AND count the animals as on some of the pages there is 7-10 animals on them so you can use It to help teach counting as well.
