This book had three, separate but intertwining stories. They were sweet, Christian stories based on love with some extenuating circumstances.

Did not really care for the first story - The Key. The Promise got better - The Neighbor was the best. To bad they put that at the end :o)

This book contains 3 novellas. The first two are related to each other and the last one has nothing to do with the other two other than being set in Texas like the other two.

The theme between the couples is repeated in all 3 novellas. The man and the woman feel attraction for each other, but fight it because of some reason in their past or current circumstances. (Putting grandchildren ahead of oneself because of feeling guilty their mother left them, Feeling that one is being unfaithful to a deceased spouse, Feeling unworthy or that one's out of God's will etc.) It's an okay theme in romance, but to have it repeated in each of the three novellas got to be noticeable and a bit predictable.

The last novella did at least have a bit of suspense in it in addition to the romance.

This book is made up of three stories. The Key: Brendy Lane is a busy woman with No time for a man in her life. In walks Zeke one day in her coffee shop. Brendy doesn't know what to do. Brendy goes with her heart and falls head over heels for Zeke....again. The Promise: Kent Lane has been heartbroken a lot. He cant really trust people very well especially women. Then Sylvia comes in his life, he is ready to put the past behind him. The Neighbor: Allisa is going to spend her summer vacation fixing up her home. Her neighbor Brad has been acting very strange around her. He digs up something strange in his back yard. Which causes Allisa to believe that he was involved in a murder. The first two stories are okay the second one is my favorite. I really didn't like the third one.

A collection of three stories, all three stories share that they're second chances at love romances. The first story is about a widow and widower who are getting a second chance on a romance they started in high school. The second story is about a newly divorced father whose trying to
put the past behind him and raise his children and the woman who's always loved him. And the third story is about new neighbors and a grave found in the back yard, a very good mystery with the killer still in the neighborhood. all well worth the read stories.

This book of three short stories got progressively better from beginning to end. There wasn't much to the first story, but because the second story was about the same family, it was more enjoyable. I liked the third story the best because it also contained a mystery. The mystery was the best part of the story. I could not figure out who the villain was until just before the reveal. The romance portions of the stories were okay. I also enjoyed the inspirational/Christian theme of the stories

This book has 3 different stories in it by the same author. I had never heard of it or her, but picked it up on sale at the Deseret Book store in Logan, Utah while I was visiting my mom. I thought the first 2 stories were mildly entertaining for clean, funny romances - the author was not exactly my style of writing (it was the first time I had read her), but the 3rd story I really liked. It was a mystery/romance and really kept my interest!

Loved these three stories about finding one's true love. Each captivating in it's own way; leaving the reader with the feeling that all is right with the world. The
characters quickly become so relate able and the plots unfolded at a fast pace. I just coildn't put this book down and will look for more books by Debra White Smith!

Not very well written. Plots develop too quickly and wrap out too fast. A superficial read.
