The reader finds this book so real, with places and people so rich in detail, they will live in your hearts forever. Denise Smith - Dir. Stanton Co, Public Library, Johnson KS The Paper Man has many twists and turns with an unforgettable love story from the beginning that kept me reading. THis was a romance that had to read and figured out and was a refreshing change of pace from the harlequins. I could hardly wait to get to the end and find out that everything turned out like a love story shoud. I can't wait to read Missouri Madness! Reneee Bloom - Dir. Cordova Dist. Library. Cordova IL

I read this book a few years ago and find now that I often think about the characters. I liked reading this book and since I keep going back to the characters in my mind I am really looking forward to reading it again. For some reason it is lingering with me and I am very happy about it.

It's an incredible love story filled with betrayal, loss, growing up, and all aspects of human life. However, the biggest part of this good that piques my interest is the naming of the characters. They act as if they have two separate minds in them, which for most people is actually true. I love the psychology of the left and right mind that separates us between emotion and logic. These studies show just how unique the human mind is, and the capabilities we have with it. Other than that, I enjoyed the explosions, dogs, and jokes they made along the way.

They make it out to be a love story, and it is in a sense. But the story starts when he's 20 and she's 9. That's just a pedophile. Especially when they continue to emphasize the age difference for the rest of the book. They lie to each other, keep secrets, and manipulate each other. I would not consider this to be a love anyone should look up to or romanticize over.

I came across this book by accident and thought oh I'll give it ... So glad I did. Wonderfully written & kept me on edge. Not prepared for it to be so well done. I will be looking up other books.
