My Thoughts
Okay so... here's the background story. So I was watching television one night, minding my own business, and I saw a commercial in which Fabio walked on the set, twinkling smile. I giggled thinking 'aw, Fabio', and then stopped and asked myself, 'Ya know, I know who Fabio is... I've seen him on commercials for 'I can't believe it's not butter!' when I was a kid, but what the heck did Fabio do to get famous? That part was a bit fuzzy. "For here was a woman without career objectives who could give him the babies he so dearly wanted" is an actual line from the book. A completely unironic line.

Bought this as a joke for a friend. She was so horrified that she actually gave it BACK to me and forced me to read it.

I have loved all of Fabio's historical romance novels, and this one was no exception. I could tell that Fabio went to great pains to research the time period the book was set in and the vivid details given made the book come alive. Would make a GREAT movie.

Nice story with good charm... I imagine myself living during the time of the Vikings and whooaaa I think I want to go back this period. This is the first book that I read so I keep on reading his books.
