I obtained a master's in secondary education and no literature that I read during my masters program compares to this book. It is extensive in covering major areas that helps develop the teacher. I have gained valuable insights and use many of the recommendations & templates from this book.

This book sets hugely unrealistic expectations for teachers e.g. having four hours of sleep a night in order to get all the prep work done. However, I found a lot of the ideas solid and motivating. The book should be taken with a grain of salt. Take the good ideas and leave the rest.
