Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories.

This is a great first volume for a new series. I liked the characters, there was enough mortal danger and a wild car chase to keep up the tension and there's a definite promise of more to come.

Having read a few werewolf stories, I'm familiar with Alphas and Betas and even Omegas (from some of Stormy Glenn's other work). Deltas, however, were new to me. I thought that setting them up as the 'cleanup boys' for a pack or the council is an interestig idea. Giving them their own set of problems (like "irresistibility" due to amazing pheromones) made me want to read the story to understand the concept. And the "need to have two mates because of a high sex drive" sets the scene for lots of hot three-way sex.

Looking forward to the next one.

This was a good first look at this series of me.This is the first time that I have read anything by these to authors for me the first book in a series has to make me want to continue to read the rest of the books and this one has. Zac is a Delta wolf who kills rogue wolfs. After a mission where he killed a murderous rogue werewolf, he decided to relax for the night before heading back to Illinois. He heads into a bar, not knowing that it's a favorite hangout for werewolves. As he enters, his eyes fall upon Matt sitting with his pack's Alpha and Beta. Matt sees Zac, and the two are transfixed by each other. Besides the Alpha and Beta, Matt is the only other wolf in the bar that doesn't start sniffing the air and going into a lust rage trying to get to Zac. The Alpha sees this starting to happen, and gets his Beta to guard the door, not letting anyone leave so that Zac can get away before everyone goes crazy with lust. When things calm down, the Alpha sends for Matt, who meets he and Zac at Zac's hotel. Matt is the only normal wolf not affected by the Delta, and it's quickly obvious to the two that they're mates. With the blessing of the Alpha, Zac and Matt head off to start their life together. Before they could get to Zac's home though, one of his elders on the council orders him to eliminate another wolf. This wolf is Aiden, a Beta for a different pack who has been plotting to kill the Alpha. When Zac arrives in chameleon form to kill Aiden, he sees that Aiden is his second mate, and Aiden is not at all like what he'd expect a killer to be like. It's quickly apparent that the Alpha and elder are up to something by trying to eliminate Aiden. After working together they realize that Aiden's Alpha is a crook, they work to bring the man before the council for punishment. They decide to start a new pack with Aiden's best friend Sebastian. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

I should know better, really, I should, but sometimes it's like having a cupcake sitting there staring at you, whispering dirty things in your ear, "Eat me, baby, it will be delicious" so you do and then you feel nauseus from too much icing and sugar and empty calories after.

I knew what I was doing when I bought this. I was in the mood for some brain candy, fated mates menagey goodness. And it was going great to about 85%, I was getting exactly what I expected, so my brain was happy. Then. What? The plot got so convoluted and things were just totally disregarded. One minute they can't send an e-mail because the message will be intercepted and they are running 20 miles cross-country in wolf form to get the papers to the council, and the next the council knows all about it and is sending back-up. Oh and that idea you had at 8:00 this morning? The Council has already approved it and told us we can choose our own alpha. WTF? You only told the other two guys about it a few hours ago. It was as if that whole thing about not being able to send the info by e-mail was completely ignored, or the latter parts were written so much later they forgot what they said said. I don't know but I was confused and annoyed.

However for the fated mates menagey goodness, it was what I expected. I suppose I should stop expecting logical plots.

The first of another great series..
I like the concept of the Delta's within the Werewolves - (the enforcer, sent out to eliminate those that brake the rules) with them having a scent that is a natural aphrodisiac to almost all. From running from bar rooms filled of sex crazed people to car chases and gun shoot-outs. Makes this a very interesting and enjoyable read.
I love the 3 character in this.
I couldn't put it down once I started it. (Now only have to wait till June for the second in this series.) Hopefully we will see more of characters like Matt (the spitfire)who has some great lines:
"Well, if I said I could suck a gold ball through a hundred feet of garden hose." (LOL! luckily coffee didn't end up on laptop)

I really appreciated the relationship between Zac, Aiden, and Matt, along with the way they respected each other's feelings. The Delta wolf is very fascinating and quite different from what I've read in other shifter books. I liked the fact that a Delta wolf could become invisible. The story was nicely written and the plot was interesting and held my attention. Overall, this was a very creative and intriguing concept (and story). :D

I usually adore Stormy Glenn’s books but I couldn’t get into this one. The idea and the story line are interesting but I failed to connect to the characters. Too much insta-love between the three main characters.

I am still on the snack re-read binge. This time the Delta Wolves small series. Interesting idea, a basic plot, and character development - lots of sex. Not much thinking is needed and not worrying about holes in the plot helps - kind of like eating a candy bar. Fills the moment.

Creo que me habré leído esta serie como cuatro o cinco veces. Realmente me gusta mucho y no descarto volver a leermela de nuevo. ¿Quién dijo que se debía tener un único libro comodín?

I liked how they changed things up. You always read about the Alpha or Beta, thoughs are good to, but it's nice to find something a bit different then other books, and that's what you get with this book.

I like how they made it so that Delta's can go invisible, that's something you don't read when it comes to Were-shifters and I thought it gave a bit more to the Shifter world. I also liked how there was action through out the book, though it did seem like it came on right away.

Most books you read it gives you something lending you up to that point, but in this book it seem like you didn't really get that before it all happened. It did have it, but it wasn't like most books. Hope that makes sense... either way it was still a good book, though I can't say it was one of my faves, but it is one that I would have someone else read if they wanted something a bit different then most books.

M/M poly books are a not so secret love of mine. It takes a certain flair to pull off a poly without making it seem like someone is getting emotionally shortchanged (like there is a primary couple and then an "add on") but Zac, Matt and Aiden are all equal parties and participants in the relationship and there's an equal amount of love and devotion between them all. I really liked the idea of a Delta wolf, it put a new spin on the whole Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamics that we typically get in wolf shifter stories.

This is another story from Stormy Glenn that I really enjoyed but had a serious continuity issue that ripped me right out of the story near the end involving the emailing of documents and the whole purpose of their trip being that they couldn't email the documents because of potential security threats.

I would still recommend it, but when you get toward the end, be prepared to get fairly annoyed.

This was my first Stormy Glenn/Joyee Flynn story, and I enjoyed it a lot. You hear a lot about alphas and betas, but this look at the enforcer side of packs, or deltas, was new and different. I quite liked the details and the story. There's a lot here for the rest of the series to live up to, but I'm sure to read it at some point. The new pack they established at the end sounds quite interesting, so I hope that we'll see more of it in the rest of the series.

The relationship between the characters as well as the world building was wonderful. The conflict was slightly over the top however. I just didn't see why there needed to be an all out battle between clans. It just was a little too much to be honest. At times the tension and explanations seemed a little contrived, as if problems were being created for more action and not for plot development. Otherwise the book was great fun and laid some great foundations for future books.

typical stormy glenn romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical stormy glenn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).

laziness dictates i will use this as my template for all books by the following authors unless a book is remarkably good/bad :

В целом книга неплохая, но очень много шероховатостей и непонятностей. Для чего вообще был нужен этот концепт с атрактивностью дельты? Без этого абсолютно можно было обойтись, а так, возникает целая куча вопросов - родители и семья тоже прыгают на дельту? Как Айден стал другом Себастьяна, если, предположительно, не мог находиться рядом с ним из-за постоянного возбуждения?
Что касается плота, я не поняла, для чего Айден полез под пули? Абсолютное отсутствие логики в повествовании.

I have a hard time wanting to rate quick little fluff books as 4 and 5 stars even if I really just needed a book that didn't require any thinking I could get lost in. This book delivered just that a few hours of forget the world bliss. So I thank the author for that!

2.5 stars

Plenty of steamy, wolfy menage heat, but weaker dialog and less compelling characters than found in the authors' other works.
