I read this, too. Lots of great information in here and I did take notes on this one. I’m pretty overwhelmed with all that’s in there, but I think if I have the book handy while I review my notes I could design a training programme that could help me meet my goals. I do t necessarily want to look like the guy on the cover, I just want to hit softballs further.
I realized while I was reading this that this is really where everyone who wants to do strength training should start. YouTube exercise videos are a dime a dozen and they just have you do some mindless exercises. This book helps you understand what the exercises can be used for (strength, size or power) and how to design a programme that will help you accomplish your goals.
