Cet ouvrage constitue un outil particulièrement didactique pour les étudiants en médecine et en sciences de la vie mais aussi pour les chercheurs et les cliniciens ..

On y retrouve le souci d'intégration des données expérimentales avec celles de l'histologie , de la pathologie et des exemples cliniques .

Il met l'accent sur les interactions entre immunité naturelle et immunité acquise, dont on sait maintenant que les relations sont beaucoup plus étroites qu'on ne l'avait imaginé .

I have used it mainly as a reference book for immunology. It offers simple explanations supplemented with clear schematic diagrams. The text is interspersed with brief questions and answers where I find explanations to most of my doubts that arise while reading the subject. However, the book could be better organised.
