This is the only Ghost Squad book i read in the series. It was on my shelf for years when I was young and it was purchased at a small garage sale. I actually just read this last year as a quick 1 night read. I was surprised at how much i did enjoy it even if it was a 3 star rating. It was a typical teen supernatural/ pseudo horror type tale of a group of kids that I guess work on ghostly supernatural cases. there were a few grisly detailed scenes ( for a child at least) and the pacing was quick and fun. I dont think it was quite YA level reading but it was close. The Malevs were vicious and it kind of had a Omega Man feel to them as they stalked and surrounded the ghost squad in some scenes. If I find any more in the series I wouldnt mind buying it and reading it. definitely worth the few hours of entertainment.
