This book is gorgeous! Aimée Crocker is easily one of the most fascinating women I've read. Her autobiography, "And I'd Do It Again" has been out of print for years and is one of the most sought-after titles. As a poor college kid, I checked out her memoir from the library and got lost in her wild adventures. Fascinating account of a woman who flaunted convention at every turn. Her inherited wealth allowed her to enjoy a freedom (and earn a notoriety) that few other women of her time could achieve. She traveled the world, spending years in Japan, Hawaii, Borneo, Europe. She married five times, mostly to men in their 20s, regardless of her own age.
