This book is extremely informative and helpful for both beginners, and artisans at the craft. It does a great job of laying everything out in a way that is descriptive but doesn’t feel overwhelming, and doesn’t feel like it’s missing out on information. I have the second edition of this textbook, and I feel like it goes even deeper into wig making than the first edition- I highly recommend picking up that edition if you are able.
