As another reviewer noted, the lyrics differ from the traditional “the more we get together”. Otherwise, this is an okay book. I felt that more effort could have gone into the illustration of the book but it is short which is sometimes a bonus when reading to a young toddler.

2 year old loves for me to sing this book to her. She picked this free book out at pirates storytime.

Mom likes to sing this book instead of read it. That means that the pages have to go in the right order, and always frontward instead of backward, and no skipping. That makes me angry, I like to turn the pages whenever and however I feel like it. I do like the song though, if mom sings it without the book then I will dance.
