I love this series for elementary ages on up -the styling, the subject, everything is great. Each book pits two types of dino against one another in categories such as speed, agility, and size, explaining which one dominates. The highlight of the book, however, is a well-imagined battle in the end that determines which dino would have been the victor in a real fight. Another great Capstone non-fiction!

This book, as obvious in the title, pits T-Rex against Velociraptor. It matches them up based on different categories such as Speed, Defense etc. There are a few extra information about each dinosaur too. Then there is a story that is told about how these two dinosaurs come upon each other, the fight that ensues and the victor. The fights do get bloody, as expected. My son loved this book. He enjoyed picking a side and waiting to see who would win.

For young dinosaur fans, this is a great book. Done as an imaginary match up between dinosaurs that weren't in existance at the same time, the author does a great job of explaining the various dinosaurs pros and cons when it came to matching up with their opponent. Filled with great illustrations and photographs, dinosaur fans will love the action and information the author shares with us.

Fact-filled fun read about a hypothetical fight between T. Rex and Velociraptors. Read this with my son.

I really liked this book. At the beginning it showed the features of the dinosaurs in this book. Then it made them fight at the end.
